Grief is a natural and normal response when someone dies, but it is often not well understood. Lumina Hospice & Palliative Care offers Grief Education and Support Groups to anyone in the community who has experienced a loss, not just those who lost someone on hospice care.
This eight-week session gives you the chance to learn and talk about your grief in a safe, non-judgmental environment, as well as to give and receive support through the listening and empathy of others who are also grieving.
A choice of day or evening sessions is offered, both held in Corvallis. Evening groups meet weekly Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Daytime groups meet weekly Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
These groups are open to the entire Mid-Willamette Valley community. They are free of charge. All interested participants must register and complete a brief orientation.
Please contact the Bereavement Coordinator for more information or to register.
You are not alone!
