All are welcome to join us for Practical Ways to Manage Dementia “Behaviors” presentation by Dr. Helen Kao. Helen is Medical Director of Clinical Innovations at Lumina Hospice and Palliative Care and Professor of Medicine with the University of California San Francisco. She is board certified in internal medicine, geriatrics, and hospice & palliative medicine.

Topics discussed include:

• Learn practical steps for ‘diagnosing’ dementia behaviors
• Explore non-pharmacologic options for managing behavior symptoms
• Try a wide assortment of real tools and devices to help with dementia care
