Film Screening “Wine, Women & Dementia”

Kitty Norton of Portland, OR made the documentary “Wine, Women & Dementia.” This film exposes the isolation, financial stress, physical and emotional toll these family caregivers shoulder for their dementia loved ones and themselves. Q&A will follow with Dr. Helen Kao & Erin Mitchell, MPH, MCoun, PhD. Helen is Medical Director of Clinical Innovations at Lumina Hospice and Palliative Care and Professor of Medicine with the University of California San Francisco. She is board certified in internal medicine, geriatrics, and hospice & palliative medicine.

The film screening is cost-free and all are welcome to attend. This event is part of the 2025 Dementia Series Community Lectures, a partnership of the Corvallis Benton County Public Library, Grace Center for Adult Day Services, Corvallis Community Center and Lumina Hospice & Palliative Care.
