Options For My Body and Service After I Die: Traditional to Eco-Friendly
This End of Life Community Education Event is a partnership between the new Heart of the Valley End-of-Life Community and Lumina Hospice & Palliative Care.
Join us for a meaningful and informative presentation with Jim Benuska, Licensed Funeral Director and Janelle Benuska, Grief & Death Doula, as they share about the current choices available for end-of-life disposition and memorial services. We’ll discuss options for funerals, burials, body donation, and cremations, including emerging eco-friendly and person-centered alternatives. Jim Benuska is a Licensed Funeral Director with over a decade of experience in caring for families. Janelle Benuska is a Grief & Death Doula, Death Café facilitator, and member of the Heart of the Valley End-of-Life Community. Jim and Janelle relocated to Corvallis in June 2024 and are grateful for the opportunity to serve the local mid-Willamette Valley.
