Carla Gabrielsen, Bereavement Coordinator at Lumina Hospice & Palliative Care, will present on Anticipatory Grief, which is mourning the loss of someone still alive, yet not the same as they once were. Watching a loved one’s capabilities diminish can trigger feelings of sadness, sorrow and helplessness. We will explore some coping strategies. This event is open to the public and free of charge. This six week workshop from April 2 - May 7 is designed to help non-professional caregivers learn how to take care of themselves while caring for someone else. This class meets on Thursday mornings at 10am at Lebanon Senior Center beginning April 2. Class size is limited.
