Katelyn Cooper Appointed Executive Director of Lumina

I’m excited to share a milestone in Lumina’s journey: the promotion of Katelyn Cooper to Executive Director! Katelyn has served our hospice with heart and dedication since 2017. Her leadership is rooted in deep understanding of our mission and love for this community. Katelyn first joined Lumina as the Support Services Manager. She then served as Operations Director for five years, where she demonstrated strong leadership and operational expertise. For the past six months Katelyn has been serving as Acting Executive Director, and she has proven to be an invaluable partner. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role and experience in healthcare, HR management, IT operations, project management and contract negotiation. “Throughout my career, I have been deeply committed to serving the community. I believe in the power of connection and collaboration and will work tirelessly to ensure that every individual we serve experiences the dignity, comfort and care they deserve” says Cooper.

Katelyn has lived in the mid-valley area for 19 years. She currently lives in Albany with her husband and daughter, an energetic dog, and a newly acquired betta fish. She enjoys camping and outdoor activities with her family.
