On Saturday, July 13 a team of twelve staff and volunteers from Lumina descended on Goss Stadium at Coleman Field on Oregon State University campus to sell raffle tickets to those attending the Corvallis Knights Baseball game against the Kelowna Falcons.
Tickets were sold at our table along the first baseline next to the food and beverage concessions, as well as throughout the stadium by our roving pairs of ticket sellers.
Our dynamic ticket sellers sold $1,010 worth of tickets! The winning ticket was drawn at the top of the eight inning. The winner took home $505 in cash.
A huge thanks goes out to Corvallis Knights Baseball for partnering with Lumina to raise money for hospice services while having fun at a game…and the Knights won the game that evening by one run!
