Join Alise Ingrid Liepnieks for an afternoon discussing how communication is more than just talking and listening — it is also about sending and receiving messages through attitude, tone of voice, facial expressions and body language. As people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias progress in their journey and the ability to use words is lost, families need new ways to connect.
This six week workshop is designed to help non-professional caregivers learn how to take care of themselves while caring for a parent, spouse, or friend, at home, in a nursing home, or across the country.
